Sitlington Sharks U9s vs Shelley U9s

Sitlington Sharks produced a performance full of determination, commitment and teamwork against a strong Shelley side.

In a close first quarter the Sharks played well and in an end to end period of the game were unfortunate not to to take the lead with a couple of near misses. Throughout the game the Sharks never let their heads drop and battled for every ball. The Sharks' reward came through George Goddard, who finished clinically from close range to score the team's only goal of the game. It was a well-taken finish that reflected the effort and attacking intent the team showed throughout.

There were plenty of positives to take from the performance. The commitment, teamwork and fighting spirit shown was a credit to the squad, that level of determination and commitment is great to see and sets up a bright future.
