Match Report – U11 Pumas vs Golcar United U11 Barcelona ⚽️
Sunday 11th October 2026
11.30am KO
AWAY
Golcar got us underway and although the Pumas started passing the ball well when in possession, we weren't quite first to everything and had to work hard to get into the game.
But then came a fantastic goal kick from Bailey, finding Vinnie who made no mistake in scoring the opening goal!
And that was it — the Pumas were on it!
The passing started flowing, the boys found their rhythm and some brilliant football followed. A great cross into the box from George found Josh, who finished it off nicely!
Sitlington were creating plenty of opportunities, but credit to the Golcar keeper who pulled off some fantastic saves!
A couple of substitutions for the Pumas gave Golcar the chance to get back into the game, but Bailey was on form and dealt with everything thrown his way.
One thing that really stood out today was just how much these boys are starting to bond as a team. The understanding between them is growing every week, and at times the football was seamless!
Into the second half and Golcar came out fighting, starting strongly and soon finding the back of the net. But the Pumas weren't hanging around — responding literally a minute later!
Another fantastic team performance, with great football across every area of the pitch. The communication was noticeably better today, the passing was brilliant and, most importantly, the boys were working for each other.
